Relaxed atmosphere, quick service, good menu. I thoroughly enjoyed a generously sized portion of grilled eel served with plentiful rice, and a selection of sashimi fish. No complaints.

Obento has been one of my favourite restaurants for years now. Consistently good Japanese food, and always a pleasant dining atmosphere. The tables are spacious, so it’s a good place to come with a group. I tend to opt for the set meals, which are very good value.

Great Japanese! We were enjoying it so much I forgot to take a photo until we were nearly done. The salmon sashimi was perfect. The maki rolls were really nice. Portions are good size servings and are good value. Would come here again.

We organised a karaoke party for a group of 12 year old girls on Sunday afternoon 3 July and they absolutely loved it. It was the only place in town that did karaoke for kids and families.
